As the weather closes in and the nights get cooler we all start searching for foods that warm us inside and out. People start dieting with Pure hCG in Spring in time for the big swimsuit reveal in Summer but winter can be a perfect time too, Why? There are so many warm and yummy recipes that will help you on your journey and inspire you during Phase 2 and be so delicious that you will want to make them in Phase 3 and Phase 4 making dieting easy with Pure hCG.

Here’s one that will have you wanting more as it tastes just like mashed potatoes and the texture is just like mashed potatoes but way healthier and perfect on Pure hCG diet. Also the perfect alternative to healthy rice.

Cauliflower Mash

This is a simple yet divine recipe you can use for Phase 2 and then add in a little knob of butter or dash of olive oil for Phase 3 and 4. If like us once you make it you will want to make it again and again and the great thing is you can add in any of your favourite herbs and spices that hit the spot for you. It is that kind of recipe, very flexible but healthy and totally paleo clean eating.

I suggest you make a larger amount as once you have tasted this you will want more I promise.

1 large whole Cauliflower

1 chopped onion red or white your choice

Salt & Pepper to taste or any other spices you desire

If you love garlic throw some in!

1 tablespoon of milk for Phase 2 or Phase 3 & 4 1/2 cup of milk and 1/2 cup of coconut milk

Phase 3 & 4 a little butter or 1 tsp of olive oil your choice

In a large pan steam the cauliflower till soft. In another pan saute the chopped onion until soft and starting to caramelize if using the butter and oil.

Drain cauliflower and combine with the onions and other ingredients adding milk last. Using a hand masher whip it all up together or you can put it into your blender and whizz up so it is even more creamery. Add chopped parsley, chives or other fresh herbs for an extra zing of flavour.

If you mash with a hand masher the cauliflower becomes more like rice and you can use to replace rice in other recipes for a clean eating healthy option.
